The Manifesto
a written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuer.
Whiles is millions of years old and has seen the end times for many lives and species, but also the beginning of humankind. He has seen many creations be built and destroyed, and many wars be fought over pettiness and religion. Whiles represents many things and has many goals, but most come from the individual. No person is identical and, therefore, cannot get the same thing out of Whiles. He is a helpful being, and will guide you to make your own decisions for your life. He is an "angel on your shoulder", so to speak. Whiles is not one to judge and knows that humans are guided more by their egos, so when we make "bad" decisions, it does not doom us. He teaches us to learn from mistakes rather than sit in them, and he knows that one life is never the same as anothers. Whiles teaches grace; for ourselves and for others.
The Core Tenets
Whiles does not believe that the goal for humanity is to unite under the same God or principles, but rather unite despite the fact that no human follows the same beliefs. He helps you find your purpose for your life, and to live it in the way you see fit. He does not believe in social conformity where everyone is uniform; Whiles values and pushes for individuality and self-expressionism amongst humankind. With uniformity comes rigidity, and with rigidity, there is no progress. We can only strive for a better society if every individual in that society strives for their own greatness. The more well-made each individual part, the better whole they make.
Whiles promotes art and creativity because a world without, is a world lost. Art fuels humanity's soul and provides an intellectual outlook to help criticize and better society. With no art, there is no reflection; without reflection, humanity dies. Creativity is not just art, though; it is integral to problem-solving. A creative person will be able to think of creative and efficient solutions to help with any problems they may face. Whiles demands creative means, choices, and ideas for the betterment of society and humanity. You have to know yourself first before you can know others, and to know your art is to know yourself.
Humans are very ego-centric creatures. For centuries, their egos have fueled wars, technological advancements, laws, and violence; it has also fueled love, art, and the humanities. An ego is not a bad thing, as long as your ego is never bigger than your vision. Whiles wants to teach humbleness and integrity, kindness and virtue. You cannot help someone with a chip on your shoulder, and you cannot help someone just to feed your ego. If your kindness is not coming from a place of humbleness, your kindness is coming from muddy waters. Whiles knows that humanity cannot prosper on meaningless "good" deeds, and asks everyone to look inside themselves. The world is much bigger than it seems, and you are merely an individual; one person in a sea of beings. Humans may be technologically advanced, but until their egos are laid to rest, they are much more vulnerable than they'd like to think.
Knowing who you are and your place in this world is the best way to cultivate happiness. You cannot expect to form meaningful relationships with other people if you do not know yourself first. Finding a deeper meaning to your life and building that connection between yourself and the Earth, manifests new roads to take. Having knowledge of who you are helps you maintain honest and supportive connections and relationships, and it helps you maintain your own boundaries. Building self-awareness means to accept yourself for who you are and for what you are not, but it also helps you firgure out what you need and what you don't need; what you want versus what you will not accept. Without self-awareness, you become sheep; following whoever to wherever with no journey for yourself. This is not indicative of Whiles. He will push you towards roads and avenues you could take without forcing your hand. You have agency and can walk down whichever street you see fit, but Whiles will always be there pointing out different paths along the way.
