Origin
Whiles originates not at the dawn of time, but around 66 million years ago. He was birthed along the Chicxulub crater after an asteroid hit the Earth, causing the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event. Born from the sulfur that was released on impact, Whiles saw the end of 75% of Earth’s animals at that period. The Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction caused a majority of Earth's animals to head to extinction, including most of the non-avian dinosaurs, and changed Earth's environment.
Whiles was not the cause, but a witness, to this mass extinction event. He was formed by the asteroid colliding with an already volcanic world, and the climate of Earth (sulfur, soot, a lack of sunlight) incubated his being.
